First Things First

Hello and thanks for joining Mineseed! When you first join, please read our /rules! Then type the command /guild in the chat box.

After selecting one, type /kit guild for a starter kit with gear, tools, diamonds and more! You can also select /pronouns once you unlock a /guild so people know how to address you.

Players can also join our /discord to see announcements, giveaways, events, and more!

Being Social

Our players love to chat! Just remember, we're an American-based server, so we stick to English in main chat. but you can do any language in /msg!

To directly message a player, do /msg or /message.

If someone is bothering you, you can /ignore them by typing /ignore playername, which will remove their messages from chat. You can always unignore them with /unignore playername. Check who you ignored with /ignoredPlayerList.

Scared of getting killed in the night? The server is set to hard mode, so mobs do take away a lot of hearts when you're first starting out. Try /sleep to skip over the night.

Bedrock Adjustments

Mineseed is a java server with bedrock support.

All bedrock players have a _ before their name.
Bedrock players cannot click on links in chat. To vote, ensure you add the _ before your name to get the vote rewards!!
As a bedrock player, you can also go to our /discord #rules-and-info to click the links. It is way easier than typing the links in manually.

Bedrock players can do /geyser offhand to move things into their left hand. Note that you may not have left hand item functionality.

Vote

Do /vote while logged in and support the server by voting on minecraft websites! In exchange for your vote, you will be showered with the following gifts FOR EACH SITE:

1 vote crate key
1 vote coin
$2,500 in game money
250 claim blocks

NOTE: if you are voting from a bedrock account, make sure to put a "_" before your username so you can get credit for voting! So, if your bedrock name is RickyLafleur, when you vote, you would type: _RickyLafleur

NOTE: make sure you have at least 3 empty inventory spots before voting!

Use your vote keys at /warp vote by right clicking on the green shulker box. Left clicking on it will show you all the options for vote rewards.

Use your vote coins by speaking with the villager at /warp vote.

Disclaimer: Mineseed does not manage the vote websites. We can't guarantee that they will work. If you are logged out of Mineseed when you vote, we cannot guarantee that you will receive all the vote perks.

Kits

When you first join Mineseed, you will be provided with a welcome kit. Once a week, you can re-obtain the welcome kit by doing /kit default.

You can also obtain /kit guild once a week, which provides entry level gear, and some other perks.

/kit claim will give you a claim kit, which includes a gold shovel, an inspect stick, and a book that explains how to claim land. You can also read how to claim land here.

/kit food provides 8 pieces of cooked beef every 30 minutes.

/kit fishing will provide you with a book that explains how to use pyro fishing. You can visit /warp How2Fish to read about it in more detail on the server as well.\

There are also individual kits for each of our donor ranks. You can read more about them and see the donor kits in the store.

Store

Mineseed is a free to play server, where almost everything in the store can be purchased in the game with player money (instead of real money). However, many of our players like purchase things from the store to donate to our maintenance costs.

Visit the store at store.mineseed.org.

You can buy ranks, or rank upgrades, crate keys, cosmetics to spruce up your avatar, extra claim blocks to expand your base(s), and more! All store-bought ranks are permanent ranks that will stay with your account, even if there is ever a full server reset (but we do not plan on doing this!).

Crates

There are five available crates at /spawn from which you can earn things to help advance your play. Visit them at /warp crates.

VOTE CRATE - the vote crate keys are free, and available as a reward to users who /vote.
SEASONAL CRATE - enjoy newly designed gear, OP tools, name gradients, wings, chat colors, specialty tags, and pins, with themes and custom enchants rotating monthly.
SPAWNER CRATE - includes spawners for some of the server's most coveted mobs. Make your own mob farm to get ahead, collect drops for your builds, or to sell for cash. Sell your extra spawners for more money!
FARMING CRATE - The Mineseed economy is mainly farming-based. Treat yourself to keys that could unlock vouchers for anti-trample boots, chunk hoppers, seed bombs to quick plant crops, automatic tillers and harvester hoes and more.
GOODIES CRATE - As it says, it's filled with goodies, from rotating back bling, wings, the server's most coveted spawners, donor vouchers, player glows, special backpacks, tags, mystery money of $1 million and up, and even a chance to win more keys!
