Fishing augments are like enchantments to make your fishing rod better. You use your entropy (fishing currency) to buy the augments. To see the augments, click on the book & quill at the top and hover over the balls to see what it does, and what you need.
To augment your fishing rod, gather all of the materials and put them all into a water-filled cauldron. Use your fishing rod to click the cauldron. The augment ball should then pop up. Then, reopen the augments menu, and put your fishing rod under the first book, the ball in under the second book, then click on the green box under the third book.
You can also withdraw your entropy by clicking on the paper in the bottom left. It will withdraw your entropy in 10K nuggets that look like enchanted iron nuggets. To use entropy nuggets, right click with the nugget in your right hand. You can also remove all the augments from your fishing rod. It costs 25K entropy to do this, and the entropy balls will all be returned to your inventory.
Drop all of the crafting recipe items into a water-filled cauldron and tap the cauldron with your fishing rord!

Gives you a chance to catch fish from any biome when fishing. This does not apply to fish that have extra catch requirements.

Deals bonus damage to crabs when holding the fishing rod. Also, you have a chance to reel in new types of crabs and get special loot.

Snow Globe Obtained from the Crabmas Event
Randomly creates a snow ring that gives bonus entropy and xp when fishing inside of it. Works for all players fishing inside of it.
